Why We Started Brave Disciple
We created Brave Disciple because we kept seeing the same pattern over and over again.
Men were trying everything.

But every time, the same thing happened. These apps could only take them so far, because they were all missing one of the most important pieces.

How do I find an accountability partner who actually follows up?
Most men try to find their own accountability, a friend, a small group, a pastor. It rarely works long-term. Volunteers aren't consistent, they have no real stake in the outcome, and life gets in the way. Brave Disciple pairs you with a dedicated accountability partner whose only job is checking in on you consistently and following up on what he sees.
Why was Brave Disciple started?
Brave Disciple was built because we struggled to find real accountability ourselves. Had we found it sooner, we would have been able to work through our own struggle much faster. We understand the struggle firsthand, and we built this so you don't have to face it alone. Our partners are people who understand what you're going through, because we've been there too.
Is Brave Disciple therapy or counseling?
No. Brave Disciple is an accountability service, not therapy. We support clients through monitoring, weekly check-ins, and follow-up. If clinical help is needed, we connect clients with a licensed counselor, therapist, or program to work alongside their accountability partner.
Why can't I just use Covenant Eyes or Accountable2You by themselves?
Apps like Covenant Eyes and Accountable2You report on you, but nobody reads the reports. Brave Disciple uses the same monitoring tools and adds a consistent accountability partner who reviews every report and follows up weekly.
Is this only for pornography, or do you help with other things too?
Brave Disciple provides accountability specifically for individuals working through pornography and related sexual issues. This includes a few different types of monitoring tools paired with a consistent accountability partner who reviews the activity and checks in weekly.
What if I relapse?
A relapse does not end your partnership with Brave Disciple. Your accountability partner helps you get back on track without shame and adjusts your plan going forward.
Will my wife or pastor know about this?
Participation in Brave Disciple is confidential. What you share stays between you and your accountability partner unless you choose to disclose it to anybody else.
What if Brave Disciple doesn't work for me?
You can cancel anytime, no long-term commitment. If you cancel partway through the month, we'll refund you for the rest of the month.
Do I have to sell a kidney to pay for this service?
No. Pricing differs depending on your plan, but we try to make this as accessible as possible. No selling of your internal organs needed.
